Construction Equipment magazine and RER (Rental Equipment Register) both honored Case for innovation in the company's introduction of joystick steering for Case E Series wheel loaders. And Better Roads magazine named the Case 650L crawler dozer one of the "Top 20 Rollouts" of 2009.
Including Case on its coveted Top 100 Products list for 2009, Construction Equipment headlined, "To the relief of shoulder-sore operators, Case Construction Equipment provides joystick-steering option on loaders from 2-cubic-yard model up." The magazine said the innovation will "cut operator fatigue and boost machine productivity in repetitive-cycle operations such as scrap and recycling, agriculture, utilities and material handling."
RER magazine likewise applauded the benefits joystick steering provides in enhancing efficiency, productivity and operator comfort.
